We teach mindful tools that offer emotional nourishment, help develop social and emotional regulation and create connection to the present moment. About me

Nicole Keating, Founder

Nicole is a certified mindful meditation teacher specializing in children’s mindfulness. She trained with Mindful Schools through their Educator Essentials Program, and through the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with renowned teachers Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. She began teaching Introduction to Mindfulness in the New York City Public School system in 2017, and is a New York City Department of Education vendor.

Nicole has experience coordinating the mindfulness program at a Brooklyn public school where she organizes a 16-week Introduction to Mindfulness curriculum for grades K-5. In addition, Nicole hosts weekly Mindful Parent Meetups and has worked with the meditation app Headspace to offer free Headspace memberships to teachers, administrators and staff. She also plans and organizes mindfulness-based professional development programs for adults in various careers. Having been a Brooklyn public school parent, and with more than a decade of her own personal meditation practice under her belt, Nicole is uniquely positioned to orchestrate mindful harmony amidst daily chaos.

Nicole lives in Brooklyn and is a forever lover and learner of life, with a passion for poetry. She resides with her beloved, Victor, their 10 year-old son, Rocco, and their two year-old pup, Penny. Nicole lived all over the United States before settling down in the “city that never sleeps (but occasionally meditates).” She has the rhythm of New York City pulsing through her veins, is sprinkled with midwestern values and Jersey pride, and has California in her heart.
